Lotto Player Scoops £4.8 Million Whilst EuroMillions Rolls Again!

One ticket holder scooped a rather nice jackpot of £4.8 million in Saturday’s Lotto draw, the largest of 225,728 cash prizes won on the night. Other amounts ranged from £25 for matching three numbers which was won by 214,945 players up to £390,643 claimed by the only ticket holder to match five main numbers and the Bonus Ball.
The numbers drawn were 1, 22, 30, 33, 40 and 47 with Bonus Ball 42 on an evening on which 50 players also grabbed a sweet £20,000 by matching one of the winning Lotto Raffle codes. For a full prize breakdown and all of the Lotto Raffle codes, head to the Lottery Results page.
EuroMillions, on the other hand, is now steaming towards the jackpot cap of €190 million (£150 million) after no one managed to match all five numbers and two Lucky Stars for the fifth draw in a row. Tuesday night will see a top prize of £143 million (€180 million) with another £1 million up for grabs in the UK thanks to Millionaire Raffle (soon to be Millionaire Maker).
If EuroMillions rolls again tomorrow, then the top prize will stand at €190 million on Friday night, where it will stay for two draws if there is no winner before rolling down into the next winning prize tier after that.
If ever there was a time to give EuroMillions a go, then this is it! If it’s not convenient to buy your EuroMillions ticket online or from an authorised retailer right now then you need to make sure you set twenty alarm clocks to go off at regular intervals throughout Tuesday, tie a piece of string to every finger and mow the word ‘EuroMillions’ into your front lawn so you don’t forget to get hold of one and therefore miss out on this fantastic opportunity.
