March Superdraw Confirmed!

A EuroMillions superdraw in March has been officially confirmed almost two weeks after we told you that it might happen. The superdraw will take place on Friday 6 March, 2009, but it won’t be quite the same as previous EuroMillions superdraws...
In previous EuroMillions superdraws, the jackpot was never allowed to roll over. That meant that if nobody managed to match all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars, the jackpot fund was rolled down to the next level where there were winning players. That happened on the last three occasions, which was good news for those matching five main numbers and just one Lucky Star, but not much use to those of us looking forward to a spectacular top prize payout.
This time things will be different, because the jackpot can roll over to the next draw if nobody wins it outright. In other words, if history repeats itself and nobody wins the superdraw jackpot on Friday 6 March, it will create an even bigger jackpot for Friday 13 March – one that could be worth as much as £185 million! And the rollovers could continue from there!
Obviously, we would all be quite happy for the EuroMillions superdraw jackpot to be won on the day itself, so ticket sales are likely to explode the closer we get to the time. If you want to avoid the queues in the shops, it makes sense to buy lottery tickets online so that you don’t risk missing out or – just as bad – losing your right to a fortune. Good luck!
