Thirteen Millionaires To Be Crowned on Friday the 13th

Last Updated: Thursday 26th July 2018, 15:03

Despite falling on what is traditionally seen by many as an unlucky day, EuroMillions players throughout the UK will be looking forward to Friday the 13th with a huge sense of excitement. This is after it was announced a guaranteed thirteen players will become overnight millionaires in the supplementary Millionaire Maker draw.

How Can You Win A Seven-Figure Prize?

The Millionaire Maker is an additional game held exclusively for UK players shortly after a EuroMillions draw. The draw normally generates four millionaires a week, two apiece on Tuesdays and Fridays. However, The National Lottery announced that there are to be no fewer than thirteen millionaires crowned in a special draw on Friday the 13th, heralded as generally one of the most unfortunate days of the year.

All EuroMillions ticket holders in the UK are automatically entered into the supplementary Millionaire Maker draw at no extra cost, with a randomly-generated code consisting of four letters and five numbers appearing on a ticket.

The odds of winning a seven-figure windfall in the Millionaire Maker draw on Friday the 13th have been significantly improved compared to normal, given eleven extra winners will be made on the night. Players receive one code for every EuroMillions line they play, so buying more than one line for the main draw could result in an even better chance of success on the night.

The last Millionaire Maker special draw was held on Friday 13th April 2018. There was also a draw held on Friday 29th December last year, which proved lucky for ten players who walked away with an extra £1 million each in their bank accounts.

£49 Million EuroMillions Jackpot This Friday

If you cannot wait for this eye-catching Millionaire Maker draw to take place, there is an estimated £49 million EuroMillions jackpot up for grabs on Friday 6th July. The top prize hasn’t been won since a single ticket holder in France won £31.8 million (€36 million) on Tuesday 19th June, rolling over for the next four draws.

You can be in with a chance of winning by visiting an authorised ticket retailer or joining an online syndicate. Good luck and let us know on Facebook and Twitter how you get on.
