Ticket Holder Wins £19.1 Million Lotto Jackpot

One lucky ticket holder certainly had a weekend to remember after winning Saturday evening’s £19.1 million Lotto jackpot. The player, who has 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize, successfully matched the numbers 3, 8, 19, 26, 37 and 41 to land the top prize that had been rolling over for the past seven draws.
This is the fourth Lotto jackpot to be won in 2017, with three out of the four prize totals exceeding the £10 million mark, in what has been a prosperous start to the new year for fans of the game. This latest win is also the largest of the year, eclipsing the £15.3 million claimed by best friends Lorraine Smith and Paula Barraclough on Saturday 18th February.
Saturday’s draw produced further joy, as six more Lotto players each pocketed £14,123 after matching five main numbers and the Bonus Ball (43). An additional 1,609,436 players also managed to secure prizes, with rewards ranging from a free Lucky Dip ticket for matching two numbers to £501 for matching five numbers.
