€10 million Jackpot for the Irish Lottery

Last Updated: Tuesday 7th August 2012, 08:59

The Irish Lottery has attracted many players attention recently and tonight’s mid-week draw is no different as there is a €10 million jackpot (estimated) on offer to win. There hasn’t been a top prize winner in the Irish Lottery since the 15th February 2012 when one winning ticket from Dublin won just over €4.8 million. This means that the current jackpot has rolled over 11 times, so the question is will any players scoop this impressive top prize tonight or will it rollover again?

Having a €10 million jackpot on offer to win in the Irish Lottery is something of a rarity as normally players match all six of the numbers drawn in the Irish Lottery results to win the jackpot regularly, meaning that Irish Lottery top prizes rarely surpass the €5 million mark.

This Irish Lottery jackpot is the highest jackpot that has been available to win this year and the last time it hit the €10 million mark was back in September 2011. On the 21st September the Irish Lottery top prize hit €10 million, however no one matched the Irish Lottery results in this draw, meaning that the top prize rolled to the next draw where the McIntrye family from Belmullet matched the numbers drawn to win just over €11 million.

Whether the Irish Lottery jackpot will continue to rollover remains to be seen, but make sure you have your tickets ready for tonight’s draw and you could match the Irish Lottery results and be waking up tomorrow morning a millionaire.
