A lottery win and a rollover for the weekend

Last Updated: Wednesday 12th September 2018, 11:39

We’ve had lucky jackpot winners and rollovers this weekend in the UK Lottery world with a mixed bag of results. Friday evening brought a Euromillions double rollover but players of the UK Lotto on Saturday evening were a little luckier. So how did you fare in the weekend of lottery draws? Were you one of the UK's lucky lottery winners?

You can check all the weekend lottery results for both the Euromillions Lottery and UK Lotto on our lottery results page but here is a rundown of the prizes and winners in the UK this weekend.

UK Euromillions Lottery players didn’t fare so well this weekend. There was no jackpot winner and that means the jackpot next week is a double rollover and worth an estimated £38 million but of those players who did get lucky, not many were from the UK.

Ten players matched five main balls and a lucky star but of those ten, not one were from the UK. Two UK Euromillions players matched five main balls without the bonus and each of those scooped over £28,000.

In the UK Lotto there was a £4.4 million jackpot up for grabs and UK players fared better in that draw. One player scooped the entire jackpot and surely woke up very happy this morning.

That means that the midweek UK Lotto draw is worth an estimated £2.4 million and next week’s Euromillions Lottery draw is a double rollover worth £38 million. Buy lottery tickets now and we could be writing your winners story in our lotto news pages!
