A Lotto luck for one lottery player

Last Updated: Monday 30th July 2018, 14:20

There have been so many shared lotto jackpots through 2010 that many lottery jackpot winners haven’t even become millionaires. However, last night’s Lotto winner had nothing to worry about as they get the entire jackpot to themselves. There was £4.5 million up for grabs in last night’s Lotto and just one lucky player matched all the winning numbers to scoop the entire jackpot. The jackpot winner now collects £4,581,890 and another lottery draw has ticked away in the National Lottery countdown to Christmas.

Merlin was the lottery machine used for last night’s Lotto draw, last seen on Wednesday evening. And it was set of balls number 1 that proved so lucky for the winner, that set hasn’t been seen since Wednesday 22nd September. In total, almost £14 million was paid out in prizes to last night’s National Lottery winners and you can check the full lottery results with us now to see if you were one of the lucky winners.

The next UK Lotto draw will be held on Wednesday evening, so you have a few windows to open on your advent calendars before then. That lotto draw will be worth around £2.4 million but if you do fancy a bigger jackpot to get your teeth into, then make sure you buy lottery tickets for the Euromillions draw on Friday. The Euromillions has rolled and that means next Friday’s draw is worth an estimated £23 million, almost ten times Wednesday’s Lotto jackpot!
