EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls to £23 Million

Last Updated: Tuesday 21st February 2012, 12:52

Last night the first draw of the week took place for the EuroMillions, and after two ticket holders won the top prize on Saturday night there was a starting jackpot of £12 million available to win. The EuroMillions results from this Tuesday night draw show that in total there were just over 1.8 million ticket holders that won a prize, however none of these were top prize winners, meaning that the EuroMillions jackpot now rolls over and is estimated at £23 million.

The results, if you haven’t seen this already from last night were 4, 9, 10, 30 and 40 and the Lucky Stars were 2 and 9. Just by looking at these numbers selected it is no surprise that no players managed to win the jackpot as three numbers drawn are all multiples of ten. In addition to that four of the main numbers are even, and just one is odd and this has only happened 69 times since this pan-European launched in 2004.

Even though no one won the jackpot last night there were three ticket holders that matched all five of the main draw numbers along with one Lucky Star to win the second tier prize. In addition to that 1,642 players won £108.60 by matching four numbers drawn, and then almost one million players matched just two numbers to win the smallest EuroMillions prize that came out at £2.70.

This is the first rollover for this current jackpot, so it will be interesting to see if any players will win the top prize in Friday night's EuroMillions draw or if it will remain elusive and carry on rolling over.
