Is Euromillions winner from Coventry?

Last Updated: Wednesday 5th January 2011, 11:09

Rumours were wildly circulating today about the whereabouts of the record Euromillions winner. All over the Internet, news agencies and bloggers are speculating that the Euromillions winner is from Coventry in the West Midlands but are these just more wild rumours? Well just like the story last week about the lad from Sunderland who claimed to be the winner, the Euromillions organisers have been keen to state that no one has come forward, they also have not yet officially released where the lottery ticket was sold.

A report in the Sunday Mirror, which travelled around the net like wildfire states that the winning Euromillions Lottery ticket was purchased at a petrol station in Coventry. However, the National Lottery organisers have been keen to state that there is no evidence of this and that details have not yet been released to saw where the lottery ticket was sold.

That means everything from now is pure speculation until the latest Euromillions winner comes forward but now UK lottery players have even more rollovers to look forward to. While this week’s jackpots may not be as high as the £113 million record jackpot, there is a rollover on both the UK Lotto and Euromillions Lottery. Wednesday night’s UK Lotto jackpot is worth an estimated £7.2 million and then on Friday night there’s a £25 million Euromillions jackpot to look forward to.

Let’s hope that pretty soon the Euromillions winner comes forward and good luck to everyone in their lottery draws this week!
