Four Tickets Scoop Triple Rollover Jackpot

Last Updated: Thursday 5th December 2013, 13:19

There was clearly excitement amongst lottery players in the UK this weekend as ticket sales shot up to their highest level so far this year prior to the first triple rollover jackpot of 2013. The jackpot, which was last won on Saturday 27th July 2013, eventually came in at an impressive £12,421,424, over half a million above the original estimate, and was shared by four ticket holders.

For those who have not yet checked their numbers, the winning combination on Saturday 10th August 2013 was 14, 15, 17, 26, 35, 46 and the Bonus Ball was 18. Each of the four jackpot winning tickets, who won the top prize by matching all six main numbers, will take home a respectable £3,105,356 each.

There were four winning tickets in the Match 5 and Bonus Ball prize tier, each winning an impressive £369,151. 391 players were also able to correctly match up five main numbers to win £2,360 each, followed by a whopping 24,634 tickets who correctly matched up four main numbers to win £82.00 each. The set prize of £10.00, won by matching three numbers, was collected by 486,969 players. A full prize breakdown for the draw on Saturday can be viewed on the Lotto Results Page.

Players are reminded to check their tickets carefully to see if they have a winning ticket with three or more numbers and if they have, to keep the ticket in a safe place until they can claim their prize. Congratulations to everyone who won a prize on the UK Lotto this weekend from all of us at National-Lottery.com.
