How Would You Spend a £1 Million National Lottery Win?

Last Updated: Wednesday 2nd August 2017, 09:21

EuroMillions and Lotto guarantee that at least six UK ticket holders will become millionaires every week, regardless of whether or not the big jackpots roll over. There are two Millionaire Maker prizes in each EuroMillions draw, while the Lotto Millionaire Raffle also gives away one prize of £1 million in every game.

One man from Buckinghamshire who recently landed the top prize in the Lotto Millionaire Raffle has revealed that he plans to use his seven-figure sum of money to ‘pay off the mortgage and buy a new Range Rover’. The lucky man, known as Mr K, works in the media and bought a ticket online for the Lotto draw on Wednesday 19th July.

Anyone who plays online does not have to worry about checking their tickets as they will be automatically notified of any prizes they win. If they do land a great prize like Mr K did, they can then decide to stay anonymous whilst still revealing some details about their story if they so wish.

Mr O from Bedfordshire also won £1 million in the EuroMillions draw on Friday 21st July after playing online, and his first purchase as a millionaire was another lottery ticket. Mr O works in IT and intends to use his winnings to buy a new home. He is also looking forward to treating his family.

Another online player, Mr C, did not quite scoop £1 million in the EuroMillions draw on Friday 7th July, but his £141,002 prize promises to make life much easier for the future. The electrician, from Cambridgeshire, will use his winnings to pay off his mortgage and splash out on gifts for his family.

Whether you would have similar plans to Mr C, Mr K or Mr O, there will be another chance to snap up a fantastic prize in tonight’s Lotto draw. As well as the guaranteed £1 million prize in the Lotto Millionaire Raffle, there will be a £6.9 million jackpot available if anyone can match all six main numbers. You can choose your numbers online or visit any authorised retailer. Good luck!
