Irish Lottery Jackpot Estimated at €4 Million

Last Updated: Monday 6th August 2012, 16:46

Tomorrow night the second Irish Lottery draw of the week will take place and many ticket holders will be hoping that the ‘luck of the Irish’ will be on their side in tomorrow’s draw so that they can become the first top prize winners of February 2012 for this lottery. The Irish Lottery jackpot on offer to win in tomorrow night’s draw is estimated at €4 million after players in the last four draws in this lottery have failed to match all six numbers drawn allowing for the jackpot to rollover and increase in size.

There are yet to be any jackpot winners in February and in last month there was just one top prize win. This happen on the 25th January 2012 when one winning ticket, which was sold in the North West matched all six of the numbers drawn to win the top prize that come out at just over €5.4 million.

In the Irish Lottery last year in February 2011 there was just on jackpot win across the whole month. This jackpot win was by a single ticket holder who won just over €4 million on the 5th February 2011. Therefore, it will be interesting to see if this month the Irish Lottery can surpass the total of just the one jackpot win that happened in February 2011.

There has only been one Irish Lottery top prize win of this year, therefore if you are feeling lucky make sure you have your tickets ready for tomorrow night’s draw and you could end up matching the Irish Lottery results and walking away with the jackpot!
