Irish Lottery Jackpot Estimated at €8.5 Million

Last Updated: Monday 15th October 2012, 13:00

The Irish Lottery jackpot has been rolling for over some time now therefore players will be getting excited for tonight’s draw as there is a rollover top prize on offer to win. The Irish Lottery jackpot available to win in this mid-week draw is estimated at €8.5 million after it has rolled over a total of 11 times. Therefore the question is can any players match the Irish Lottery results tonight on this Summer Solstice to win the jackpot or will is carry on rolling over?

Today is classed as the longest day of the year and as there are yet to be any Irish Lottery jackpot wins for June 2012 it will be interesting to see if the sun will be shinning on any ticket holders tonight. The last time the Irish Lottery jackpot was won was on the 9th May when a ticket purchased in the South matched the six numbers drawn and won the jackpot that was worth €2 million.

This is the second highest the Irish Lottery has been for this year, however if no jackpot winners are found tonight and the top prize carries on rolling over who knows we might just see a new record being set. Currently the highest Irish Lottery jackpot that has been won was an impressive €18,963,441 that was won by a syndicate of workers at the Dan Morrissey Ltd quarry and concrete plant in Bennekerry, Carlow on the 28th June 2008.

We will have to wait and see if tonight’s draw will produce a winner or a rollover however if you fancy matching the Irish Lottery results and walking away a jackpot winner have your tickets ready because this longest day of the year could prove lucky for you.
