Irish Lottery Jackpot Rolls to €5 Million

Last Updated: Monday 6th August 2012, 15:30

Irish Lottery ticket holders will tonight be hoping to match the numbers drawn to win the Irish Lottery jackpot as it has rolled to €5 million. It has reached this estimated jackpot amount as players in the last five Irish Lottery draws have failed to match the numbers drawn in the results to win the jackpot. This has enabled the top prize to rollover and increase in value, but will any players strike lucky tonight and win the jackpot or will it remain elusive and rollover again?

The Irish Lottery jackpot has only been won twice this year. The first jackpot win of 2012 happened on the 25th January when a ticket bought in the North West matched the six numbers drawn which were 1, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 37 to win the top prize that was worth €5,482,894.

The second win of this year was by a ticket sold in Dublin, which on the 15th February matched the numbers drawn and won the jackpot that came out at just over €4.8 million. Since then no players have won the jackpot, but will all that change in tonight’s mid-week Irish Lottery draw?

The most popular numbers to make it into the Irish Lottery results are 38, 3, 12, 13, 2 and 32. Whether any of these numbers will be drawn tonight remains to be seen, but make sure you have your tickets ready for tonight's draw and you never know you could end up winning the Irish Lottery top prize.
