Irish Lottery Jackpot Rolls to €5 Million

Last Updated: Monday 6th August 2012, 15:31

The Irish Lottery had its first draw of the week on Wednesday and as there was a rollover jackpot on offer to win players were crossing their fingers and hoping to win the top prize on offer. However, this wasn’t the case as the jackpot remained elusive which now means that the Irish Lottery jackpot has rolled to an estimated €5 million for tomorrow night’s draw, so the question is will any players match the six numbers drawn tomorrow night to win this top prize?

The Irish Lottery results from Wednesday’s draw if you haven’t seen them already were 8, 9, 13, 14, 20, 36 and the Bonus Ball was 6. It is not surprising to see that there were no jackpot wins as two separate consecutive pairs were drawn out, which is something of a rarity in the Irish Lottery results.

Despite there being no jackpot winner there were three ticket holders that matched five numbers along with the Bonus Ball to win the second tier guaranteed prize which is always worth €25,000 in every Irish Lottery draw. To add to that 1,966 players won €50 and then over 33,000 players matched three numbers to win €5.

There hasn’t been an Irish Lottery jackpot winner since the 18th April when a ticket purchased in Dublin matched the results to win the jackpot that was worth €4,411,240. Therefore, we will have to wait and see if in tomorrow’s draw any players can match the numbers drawn in the Irish Lottery results and become the first jackpot winners in this lottery for this month.
