Six Time Irish Lotto Rollover Jackpot Won By Single Ticket

Last Updated: Wednesday 29th July 2020, 14:29

The Irish Lotto jackpot has been on a rollover spree since it was last won on 24th November 2012, and on Saturday it was finally nabbed by one lucky jackpot winner. The player scooped the impressive six time rollover jackpot of €4,650,968, which will undoubtedly make them feel like all their Christmases have come at once! This lucky ticket holder won the jackpot by matching up all six numbers, after players had failed to do so in the six previous draws.

On the subject of winners, there will have been celebrations in another three British households this weekend too, as three players shared the UK Lotto jackpot. Each will take home roughly £1,156,074 after they correctly matched six numbers drawn from Guinevere on Saturday 15th December 2012. Congratulations to all UK and Irish lottery winners this weekend.

After an exciting weekend, players of the Irish Lotto will now be turning their attention to the Christmas Millionaire Raffle, which is due to take place on 31st December 2012. The Raffle, which has a top prize of €1 million, also has a whole other range of prizes ranging from €500 all the way up to €250,000 and plans to give away an astonishing 2,236 prizes on the night. However, tickets for the event are limited, so players are advised to buy their tickets in advance as soon as they can to ensure they are not disappointed.
