Lottery win keeps Corrie’s Websters together

Last Updated: Friday 8th April 2011, 13:01

A Lotto win is to keep Corrie’s Webster family together after Kevin Webster wins £250,000 on a lottery scratchcard. The couple’s marriage has been plagued recently by mistrust and infidelity and later this year Sally is to be all set to leave, but after realising that Kevin has won this life-changing scratchcard prize, she puts off the divorce and the cunning begins.

In Coronation Street, Sally has left Kevin because Kevin has produced a love-child with Molly, wife of Tyrone. Sally is soon to have a new man in her life, and so when Kevin wins the £250,000 he doesn’t see why he should have to share his lottery windfall with his soon to be ex-wife.

Tyrone is to be Sally’s saviour, running to the solicitors office to tell her about Kevin’s good fortune, and upon hearing the news, Sally Webster decides that maybe she doesn’t want a divorce after all. The whole incident is to culminate in Sally confronting her soon to be ex-husband and tearing up the divorce papers, demanding new ones be drawn up giving her the full amount she is owed from the lottery scratchcard win.

This is the second time in the last twelve months news has leaked that a UK soap opera is going to run a lottery storyline, last time it was Emmerdale, who ended up not even running the story due to it being leaked to the press and lottery news agencies. Will this story run and will Sally Webster get what is due to her? You’ll just have to tune in and see!
