Lotto and Lotto Raffle Results for Saturday 15th August 2015

Last Updated: Saturday 15th August 2015, 22:58

Lotto fans rushed to pick up tickets for the draw on Saturday 15th August and it proved an inspired choice for the 292,826 who pocketed prizes, particularly the one lucky participant who was able to scoop the jackpot of £4.3 million after matching all six main numbers of 4, 8, 10, 21, 41 and 49.

The Bonus Ball was 28 and there were also seven players who matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to each bag £42,645. Another 249 ticket holders earned £1,017 each after matching five main numbers, while 14,999 entrants matched four main numbers to each become £89 richer and 277,520 participants snapped up £25 as a result of matching three main numbers. There were also 50 winners in the Lotto Raffle who will each get £20,000, and you can see the all-important codes in the Results section, along with a full Lotto prize breakdown.

Checking your Lotto tickets is a vital part of the process as prize money which is not claimed within 180 days will instead go to the Good Causes Fund. One entry, bought in Teignbridge, Devon for the draw on Valentine’s Day matched one of the special Lotto Raffle codes worth £1 million, but has now expired. However, there was a happier story from Wolverhampton this week, as a player who won £71,387 with a ticket bought on 11th April came forward to claim their prize four months later.

If you fancy getting your hands on a fantastic cash reward courtesy of Lotto, make sure to buy a ticket for the next draw on Wednesday. You can enter online or go to any authorised retailer, and you could just walk away with the £2 million jackpot. Have fun and best of luck!
