Saturday Lotto Jackpot Won By One Ticket

Last Updated: Thursday 5th December 2013, 13:19

Saturday’s Lotto was the first weekend draw in this lottery for this month so players were crossing their fingers and hoping that they would become the latest top prize winners in this lottery. This was indeed the case for one lucky player as the Saturday Lotto jackpot was won by one ticket. The jackpot came out at just over £4.2 million, originally estimated at £3.8 million, however this wasn’t the only winner on Saturday night because in total over 400,000 players won a prize.

The Lotto results from Saturday’s draw if you haven’t seen them already are 11, 21, 22, 41, 47, 48 and the Bonus Ball was 36. These results make for some interesting statistics as there were two sets of consecutive numbers draw 21 and 22 and then 47 and 48. There were in total 301 players that were one number away from winning the jackpot as all matched five numbers to win £2,816 however 13 of these players also matched the Bonus Ball to win the second tier Lotto prize which was worth £99,826. The identity of this latest Lotto jackpot winner is not known, therefore we shall have to wait and see whether this jackpot winner claims their winnings anonymously or comes forward.

Wednesday’s Lotto draw has an estimated jackpot of £2 million on offer to win and as the jackpot has been won twice so far this month the question is, will any players make it three jackpot wins for April in this mid-week draw or will this top prize rollover?
