Saturday's Lotto Draw Boasts £11 Million Jackpot

Last Updated: Friday 12th September 2014, 11:29

Excitement is building for tomorrow night’s Lotto draw as there is an impressive £11 million jackpot and 200 Lotto Raffle prizes up for grabs! This life-changing prize comes as the result of the past three draws taking place without a top prize winner and is the second largest jackpot seen to date this year.

The largest top prize won this year is a huge £13.4 million and was won on Saturday 4th January 2014 by a total of 23 ticket holders. The large number of jackpot winners was due to the fact that the top prize had rolled over a total of four times and, as Lotto rules state that the jackpot can only roll over a maximum of four times before it must be won, the top-tier prize rolled down and was shared between those who matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball because no player matched all six main numbers drawn on the night.

Prior to this, the last time there was an eight-figure Lotto jackpot up for grabs was back in August of last year when the top-tier prize reached £12.4 million. The draw saw four ticket holders match all six main numbers drawn to share the jackpot prize, with each winner taking home just over £3.1 million. One of the winning tickets was purchased online by a player who was identified only as Mrs C from Devon. No further information was released about Mrs C as she collected her winnings anonymously.

If you want to play for your chance to scoop tomorrow night’s jackpot and become £11 million richer, simply visit the Lottery Tickets page to purchase your tickets quickly and easily online, or visit an authorised retailer before sales close at 7:30 PM BST tomorrow. There are also 200 Lotto Raffle prizes worth £20,000 each up for grabs tomorrow so, along with the main results, don’t forget to check the raffle results to see if you’re a winner!

Good luck!
