Single Ticket Holder From UK Wins £58 Million EuroMillions Jackpot

Last Updated: Wednesday 11th July 2018, 10:44

One ticket holder from the UK woke up as a multi-millionaire today after winning an incredible £58 million jackpot in the EuroMillions draw on Tuesday. The player was the only one from all of the participating countries to hit all seven numbers in the draw, landing them the eight-figure sum.

Winning EuroMillions Numbers

The winning numbers from the EuroMillions draw on Tuesday 10th July were 3, 8, 26, 33 and 45, with Lucky Stars 7 and 10. The jackpot winner matched all of them, and there were over 1.5 million prizes awarded in total, including 376,360 to UK players. There were also two codes drawn in the UK Millionaire Maker draw, each worth £1 million to the players with one of the matching codes on their tickets - MKMX93751 and VKMR86851. See the results page for a full prize breakdown.

The winner of the £58 million prize now has 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize. The previous big winner from the UK, who won £121 million in a EuroMillions draw in April, chose to stay anonymous upon claiming their prize, and the latest winner will also have the option to do so.

Andy Carter, Senior Winners’ Advisor at the National Lottery, said: “We have another multimillion-pound EuroMillions jackpot winner here in the UK, just a few months on from a £121 million winner. Players are urged to check their tickets and, rest assured, we have plenty of champagne on ice ready to celebrate.” It is the 73rd EuroMillions jackpot claimed by players from the UK since 2004 and the third so far in 2018.

Jackpot Resets but 13 Millionaires to Be Made

The EuroMillions jackpot resets to £15 million for the next draw on Friday 13th July, and while this is a relatively modest amount compared to the sum Tuesday’s winner landed, it is still one of the biggest lottery jackpots available in Europe at the moment. What’s more, a special version of the UK Millionaire Maker raffle is due to take place on Friday, in which 13 raffle codes will be drawn, rather than the usual two, each worth £1 million. It means there are more chances than ever to become a millionaire with EuroMillions.
