Split for Lotto Rollover

Last Updated: Tuesday 11th September 2018, 13:55

UK Lottery players certainly had a lot to be excited about this weekend with back to back lottery rollovers. On Friday evening the Euromillions Lottery boasted a £23 million jackpot and then last night it was the turn of the UK Lotto and yet another rollover jackpot of £7.4 million. But while the Euromillions may have teased players and rolled again, the UK Lotto jackpot was split, as two lucky players matched all six winning numbers in the draw.

The UK Lotto draw kicked off as usual on the BBC last night and the machine used for the draw was Merlin, set of balls number 8 were used and we haven’t seen those in a while now. If you missed the draw, you can catch all the results and winners now in our lottery results section.

Maybe the number 8 is someone’s lucky number however, as it certainly proved lucky for the two lottery players who matched all six winning numbers. Each of the lottery jackpot winners are now £3.7 million richer, no doubt a cause for celebration.

This lottery result now means that Wednesday’s Lottery jackpot will be reset so we can expect around £2.4 million for that draw but if you are itching for more rollover fun then buy lottery tickets for Friday’s Euromillions Lottery, the estimated jackpot for that draw is now £34 million thanks to Friday’s rollover and interest is sure to be high as the popular European lottery holds it’s double rollover draw.
