Three Win Lotto as EuroMillions Rolls

Last Updated: Wednesday 13th June 2012, 15:06

Three players matched all six main numbers in the Lotto game on Saturday 7 April to win themselves an equal share of the £6,352,278 jackpot that was on offer. This was just as well, because no player won the jackpot in the EuroMillions game on Friday 6 April, making it three draws in a row without a jackpot winner. Of course, every cloud has a silver lining, and the good news for EuroMillions fans is that there is now an even bigger triple rollover jackpot worth around £32 million to play for this Tuesday!

Taking the games in chronological order, the EuroMillions results last Friday were 11, 20, 30, 35 and 45, and the two all-important Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 03. Seven tickets matched one of those Lucky Stars with the five main numbers to win a consolation prize of £166,205 each, and another thirteen tickets matched the five main numbers without either Lucky Star to win £29,832 each. Those prizes are certainly worth celebrating, but the luckiest lottery player in the UK on Friday was the one who matched the Millionaire Raffle number QJY725043, because that player is now £1 million richer than they were previously.

The three jackpot-winners in the Lotto game fared even better, because each one-third share of the jackpot was worth a hefty £2,117,426. The six main numbers drawn in that game were 12, 16, 23, 25, 31 and 42, and the Bonus Ball was 18. There were 18 winning tickets at the second-tier prize level, and each of those won £70,191 by matching five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. 638 tickets matched five main numbers only to win £1,237, and the total number of Lotto prizes won on Saturday was 643,886.

We congratulate everyone who won a lottery prize last Friday or Saturday, and we expect that many of them will be joining the rest of us in playing for an even bigger prize this week. Buy your lottery tickets online today and if you don’t win the £32 million EuroMillions jackpot this Tuesday you just might win the £2.2 million Lotto jackpot on Wednesday. Good luck!
