Time running out for UK Lotto winner

Last Updated: Thursday 24th September 2020, 15:55

Were you trying to match all the winning numbers in last night’s UK Lotto draw? Yes and no doubt players were all over the UK were hoping to be the lucky players to get that elusive jackpot. But time is running out for one lotto winner who has already matched five main balls and the bonus ball but has not yet claimed their prize.

The winner matched five main balls and the bonus ball in the 8th August UK Lotto draw but despite several calls for the lottery winner to come forward, no one has come forward to claim the prize.

That means that time really is running out for the lottery winner as the unclaimed prize only has until 4th February to be claimed before it goes back into the fund for good causes, including all the interest it has accrued.

That means that it’s time to dig out all those old lottery tickets and see if you are a lucky winner. To narrow it down a little, the ticket was certainly sold in the Blackpool Borough area and matched five main balls and the bonus in the 8th August 2009, UK Lotto draw.

Check those old summer jackets, they’ve been in the cupboard all winter and the pocket could be holding that elusive unclaimed prize. Old drawers, down the back of the sofa, wherever you think you might have left that lost lottery ticket it really is time to check as you could be a £100,000 lottery winner.
