UK Lottery Weekend Results

Last Updated: Friday 16th January 2015, 09:27

Over the weekend we saw a number of lottery draws take place in the UK and Ireland some of which didn’t produce jackpot winners whilst others made players overnight millionaires. Here we take a look at the UK Lotto results, Irish Lotto results and a quick look at what the draws for Thunderball and Lotto Plus 5 revealed for participating players in the UK. The UK Lotto boasted the largest jackpot of the UK games at just over £4.2 million but what have the UK Lottery weekend results revealed?

Two winners shared the UK Lotto jackpot and you can see the full prize breakdown and numbers from the UK Lotto results here. In total there were 531,847 winners each taking home at least £10 from the weekend draw.

The Saturday Thunderball draw failed to find a winner of the top prize of £500,000 but eight players did match five main balls to win £5,000 each. It has been a while since the Thunderball game found a top prize winner, the 3rd February saw one winner take the top prize.

For Lotto Plus 5 participants a top prize has not been won since 12th February 2012 and last night’s results saw the £250,000 jackpot remain elusive once again although one player did match five main numbers and the bonus ball for a £25,000 prize.

The Irish Lottery jackpot rolled on Saturday night as there were no match six winners but there was one winning ticket in the lower prize tier of match five and the bonus who took home a €25,000 cash prize.
