Last Updated: Tuesday 6th September 2011, 13:59

Everyone may be getting excited about the Euromillions Lottery, and with its £136 million jackpot they’d have every reason to. However, a UK Lotto rollover for the weekend has given lottery players even more to look forward to! That’s right, the results are in and the UK Lotto midweek jackpot has rolled, giving players an estimated £7 million to look forward to on Saturday evening!

Despite the rollover, the midweek Lotto draw had plenty of happy winners, with over 300,000 players walking away with a prize. In all £5 million was paid out in prize money, while the £2.05 million jackpot rolled over to the weekend.

For the 1619th UK Lotto draw, Arthur was chosen as the machine to be used, not seen since June 8th, set of balls number 5 was also used and they haven’t been seen since the end of April.

The combination seemed to prove lucky for lottery players however, with 12 players sharing the second tier prize. Each five and the bonus winner collects £52,673 as the biggest winners in the midweek UK Lotto draw.

Next up is the Euromillions on Friday evening, and there’s no denying the magnitude of the eleven times rollover jackpot. However, there will be plenty of lottery players out there looking for a more sedate win, with slightly lower odds and they’ll all be buying lottery tickets for the UK Lotto rollover on Saturday evening. Don’t forget to check the results and keep your lottery tickets in a safe place!
