Wednesday is D-day for Euromillions winner

Last Updated: Tuesday 3rd July 2018, 12:32

Imagine having a winning Euromillions ticket and not finding out you’re a winner until after the deadline to claim. Well that’s exactly what might happen to one Euromillions winner if they don’t come forward by Wednesday. There’s an unclaimed lottery prize for the Euromillions Lottery worth £616,198, despite several appeals by the National Lottery, the UK press and us here at National-Lottery.com the winner has still not come forward but this really is the last call as on Wednesday at 5pm the prize expires.

The unclaimed lottery prize dates back to the Euromillions Lottery draw on 11th December and the winning ticket was sold in the Belfast area of Northern Ireland. Despite many appeals for the ticketholder – who matched five main balls and a lucky star – the winner has still not come forward to claim the prize.

If the Euromillions prize isn’t claimed by 9th June at 5pm then the entire £616,198, plus any interest it has accrued will go into the fund for good causes and be lost to the winner forever. This would be a terrible shame, especially when you consider what a life-changing amount of money is involved so it’s time to have that last look around the house for old lottery tickets as they could make a huge difference to your life.

It really is the last chance now for the winner to step forward so if you buy lottery tickets in the Belfast area and you think you might be the winner, get searching now or you could miss out on the chance of a lifetime lottery win.
