EuroMillions Superdraw Offering €100 Million Jackpot Tonight

Last Updated: Friday 5th June 2015, 09:24

The EuroMillions Superdraw has finally arrived, and tonight tens of millions of people across Europe will be crossing their fingers and counting down the minutes until the winning line is produced. There’s a €100 million (estimated £72 million) jackpot up for grabs this evening, the largest amount offered on the game for over three months.

The most recent Superdraw, held on Friday 6th March, was immediately snapped up on the night by a Portuguese ticket holder who walked away with a tidy €100 million (£72.1 million). Before that, a Superdraw on Friday 3rd October 2014 triggered a series of six rollovers that finally ended on Friday 24th October when another Portuguese player grabbed a prize of €190 million - the maximum jackpot amount allowed by the game.

Before you start looking up last-minute flights to Lisbon so you can buy a ticket for tonight’s draw, it might help to have a look at the EuroMillions Superdraw page, where you can find details of all the winners from these special games. While some may have rolled over, winners from several participating EuroMillions countries have all eventually scooped a sweet prize, including several UK ticket holders.

In March 2014, Neil Trotter pocketed £107 million (€129 million) after a Superdraw jackpot for Friday 7th March rolled over twice, while Angela and Dave Dawes bagged £101 million (€117 million) after a rollover from the Superdraw on Tuesday 4th October 2011. An anonymous UK winner snagged £113 million (€129 million) from yet another rollover from the special draw held on Friday 1st October 2010, while the first-ever UK EuroMillions Superdraw winner split a pot of £112 million (€129 million) with a Spanish participant in a rollover from the previous draw held on Friday 5th February 2010.

Of course, it always helps to have a plan in place when such a large sum of money is on the line. Are you going it alone, snapping up tickets in the hopes of winning the Superdraw jackpot all for yourself, or are you clubbing together with friends, family and coworkers to create a syndicate? Have you picked your own numbers or sprung for a Lucky Dip? If you’re still stuck for ideas as how to generate that all-important ticket, have a look at the EuroMillions Number Generator and EuroMillions Statistics pages, where you can either grab a randomly-produced entry or view a full set of data from EuroMillions draws.

No matter how you get involved with tonight’s draw, you need to be quick about it - sales stop at 7.30pm BST (8.30pm CEST) tonight, so pick up those entries online or from authorised retailers before it’s too late. The last thing you want is to realise that it’s time to buy EuroMillions tickets when it’s 7.31pm! Good luck!
