Last Updated: Thursday 10th February 2011, 15:54

For many young couples today, getting on the property ladder can be a daunting experience. It can often feel to couples who rent that the only way out of the rental trap would be a lottery win. Well for one lucky couple that’s exactly what has happened, a £1 million Millionaire Raffle win from Christmas Eve will now buy the lucky couple  their first home. It's an exciting time for the couple, who are still in shock about the win, here's their story...

James Campbell is a self employed joiner and like many in his position money is tight, so when he and his wife Angela scooped £1 million on the Christmas Eve SuperRaffle, a new home was top of the list.

The couple have two children but have never owned their own home. Now, house hunting is top of the list for the couple, after they’ve taken their children to Disneyworld of course.

The couple immediately realised they had won the Euromillions SuperRaffle, after watching the draw on BBC on Christmas Eve. Angela Campbell went to church on Christmas morning and says she just sat there dumbstruck thanking God for her good fortune.

Of course, this is just one of the 25 Millionaire SuperRaffle prizes from Christmas Eve, and many still haven’t been claimed, so if you still haven’t checked your Christmas Eve Euromillions lottery tickets then it’s time to do so. You could be sitting on a £1 million Millionaire Raffle win and not even be aware, imagine missing out on that life-changing lottery win!

Congratulations to all the Euromillions SuperRaffle winners, the next Euromillions draw will be held on Friday evening and the estimated jackpot for that draw is £12 million to UK Lottery players.
