Five share Lotto rollover

Last Updated: Friday 1st October 2010, 23:01

It’s been an exciting weekend in relation to lottery draws in the UK with last night’s Euromillions rolling over to next week and £7 million up for grabs in tonight’s UK Lotto. But no massive rollover winner was created tonight as five lucky players share the UK Lotto rollover. The rollover jackpot reached £7.5 million in the end, giving each lottery player £1.5 million, not a bad return for a £1 stake.

If you missed the draw, and you may well have done, it was pushed back for the World Cup game on BBC1, then you can check the rollover lottery results on our lottery results page but as it was, there were five winners and if you’ve not checked your lottery tickets yet then you may be one of them.

Lancelot was the machine used in tonight’s UK Lottery rollover draw and set of balls number 6 was used, a total of £17 million was given out in lottery prizes and they consisted of, five jackpot winners, eight players matching five and the bonus and collecting almost £200,000 each, plus many smaller winners too.

The next UK Lotto draw is on Wednesday evening of course, and the estimated jackpot for that draw is £2.4 million. If you’re after a little more rollover excitement then make sure you buy lottery tickets for the Euromillions rollover next Friday evening. There’s an estimated £23 million up for grabs and with no UK luck this week, maybe we’ll be luckier next week.

Good luck in all your draws, check back for more lottery news during the week.
