Second EuroMillions Superdraw of the Year Will Take Place in June

Last Updated: Monday 23rd November 2015, 16:45

EuroMillions will hold the second Superdraw of the year on Friday 6th June 2014 with a guaranteed jackpot of €100 million (£80 million*) to play for. The special draw will follow the same format as regular EuroMillions draws but will have an enhanced guaranteed minimum jackpot. If no player successfully matches all seven numbers drawn, the Superdraw jackpot will roll over to the following draw and increase in value.

Last month saw the first EuroMillions Superdraw of the year take place but players in that draw failed to match the winning numbers. The jackpot went on to roll over for two further draws, growing in size with each draw, before UK ticket holder Neil Trotter finally matched all seven numbers drawn on 14th March to win a life-changing £107 million (€129 million).

Next month’s Superdraw will be the 16th of its kind since its introduction to EuroMillions in 2007. In the first Superdraw, a single ticket holder from Belgium won the Superdraw jackpot on the night which was, at the time, the third largest in EuroMillions history.

EuroMillions Superdraw tickets can be purchased online or from an authorised lottery retailer from Friday 9th May. With such a large guaranteed jackpot at stake, ticket sales are expected to increase dramatically so we strongly advise players who wish to participate to purchase their tickets in plenty of time.

Further details on Superdraws can be found on the EuroMillions Superdraw page.

*The EuroMillions jackpot is set at €100 million which, due to the current exchange rate, converts to approximately £80 million.
