Last Updated: Thursday 22nd November 2018, 14:23

The UK Lotto have announced they will be offering lottery players the chance to win even more cash prizes with the introduction of the new televised game show, 49 to 1. The first game will be played on the launch night of the new Lotto on Saturday 5th October 2013, with the second game being played on Saturday 12th October 2013.

49 to 1 is open to all lottery players and will give 49 lucky players the chance to win up to £50,000 in a game show which will be both televised and live streamed on the internet. The game will play alongside the UK Lotto draws and each player will be assigned a number between 1 and 49 and players will win a cash prize if the number they are assigned is drawn as one of the Lotto main numbers.

The players who represent the first three numbers drawn will each win £10,000 and those representing the second three numbers picked will win £20,000 each. There is also a special prize of £50,000 for the player who represents the Bonus Ball.

In order to register for the show, players must be quick and ensure they have a ticket for the upcoming Lotto draw taking place on Saturday 21st September 2013. Players must then register directly with the UK Lotto and include their lottery ticket number on the registration form. Registration closes on Monday 23rd September 2013 at midday. 49 players will then be picked at random to be part of the draw on Saturday 5th or Saturday 12th October.

This game is just part of the exciting new changes being made to the UK Lotto in October, which also include the introduction of the Lotto Raffle and increased starting jackpots. To read more about the upcoming changes, click here.

The results of Saturday’s draw will be available to view on the Lotto Results page shortly after the draw and you can also view the latest results for the Health Lottery, Thunderball and Euromillions. Good luck!
