UK Lotto Players Reminded to Update Details Prior to Lotto Changes

Last Updated: Thursday 22nd November 2018, 14:24

UK Lotto players are being reminded to update their direct debit payment details prior to the upcoming lotto changes on Saturday 5th October 2013. As the price of playing the lottery is changing, all players are being contacted via post, email or telephone and asked to update their details to confirm that they still want to be in with the chance of winning millions.

More than one million players take part in the Lotto or Thunderball by direct debit and risk having their payments stopped and ticket purchases cancelled unless they opt into the new lotto price. Players are advised to log into their online account and check they have amended their direct debit details otherwise, come 5th October, players may find they have missed out on a prize if their numbers come up!

If you do not want to renew your direct debit but still want to play the lottery there are a variety of other ways to play all games, including Euromillions. You can purchase your tickets from a local retailer, buy a one off ticket online or buy multiple tickets online for up to eight draws in advance.
