Will the Lotto Jackpot be Won Tonight?

Last Updated: Friday 16th January 2015, 09:22

Tonight sees the final Lotto draw of November 2012, so many players are hoping to strike lucky and land themselves the jackpot. To date this month has seen four jackpot wins by ticket holders totaling £26 million, so the question is will the Lotto jackpot be won tonight? It will be interesting to see if any players can match the numbers drawn tonight because if they do it means that this month will have seen five jackpot wins out of eight draws.

The identities of the winners so far this month are unknown, as none of them as of yet have come forward to collect their winnings. We will have to wait and see if anyone wins the Lotto jackpot tonight and if so whether they will come forward to claim their prize, and go public with their win. Tonight’s jackpot winner stands to win a very respectable £2.2 million, which, although not the biggest jackpot ever seen, is still bound to make someone’s Christmas shopping an awful lot easier!

However, all the talk this week regarding lotteries is surrounding the US Powerball jackpot. After rolling over for the last 15 draws, the jackpot currently stands at an absolutely massive, record breaking $500 million – and, with over 12 hours still left to go before ticket sales close, the final jackpot figure is expected to climb even higher today.

Whichever lottery you decide to play, we at national-lottery.com hope that luck is on your side this week, and let’s hope we see lots of happy players get a pre-Christmas bank balance boost!
