National Lottery Show first

Last Updated: Tuesday 11th September 2018, 13:55

This Saturday the nation is to see a National Lottery show first as Mumzy Stranger and Preeya Kalidas perform their debut track ‘Shimmy’ on the BBC National Lottery show. The event will make history as the first two British Asian acts ever to perform on the show since it launched in 1994, something worth celebrating and something that is sure to get the lotto show off to a bang on Saturday evening!

Preeya Kalidas is more known to Eastenders fame, she has been playing Amira Shah and also movies such as Bend it like Beckham. She has however moved into music, signing with Universal Records. Shimmy is Preeya’s debut hit and she will be performing it live on the National Lottery show on Saturday night.

Even if you usually check your lottery results online, this show is well worth tuning into for this spectacular affair. Both Mumzy Stranger and Preeya Kalidas see it as an honour to be on the National Lottery show, Preeya will even be hitting the red button and setting off the live National Lottery show.

She can’t wait for the event and the chance to help one lucky player become an instant millionaire. You can buy lottery tickets for the draw now but of course it’s only Tuesday and that means before Saturday’s National Lottery draw is the midweek draw. Tomorrow evening the estimated jackpot for the draw is £2.4 million.

Shimmy will be released on 24th July but the first chance you’ll have to hear it is on Saturday’s National Lottery show. Let’s hope the appearance gives you all lots of good luck!
