Bingolotto on Your TV

Last Updated: Tuesday 7th May 2019, 11:55

Bingo LottoBingolotto is a game combining aspects of both a lottery and bingo, and one you can expect to hear quite a lot over the next few months.

A recently launched television show that is being broadcast on Virgin 1 and Challenge on Friday nights gives viewers the chance to win a host of prizes, including an invitation to the studio to compete for a top prize of £100,000.

Bingolotto game cards are being sold for £2 each at more than 11,000 retailers nationwide. To participate in the game, all you have to do is buy a ticket, tune in to Virgin 1 or Challenge at 7pm on Friday and play the game.

Each Bingolotto card bears a unique serial number and three bingo cards. During the show, winning serial numbers are broadcast, and if you card matches one of these you could win anything from a digital camera to a holiday or car. The bingo cards are presented as a five by five grid of numbers, and to win you need to match all four corners or a line. Overall, Bingolotto players have a 1 in 10 chance of winning something, so there is plenty to get excited about in this game.

This isn’t the first time that an interactive game has been played on television, but Bingolotto is unique because of the way it combines all the entertainment of bingo with the simplicity and convenience of buying a lottery scratch card.

We think that Bingolotto is certain to capture the imagination of the general public, and we expect online bingo sites – and maybe even lottery sites – to start creating their own versions of lottery / bingo games in the near future if they haven’t already. Until then, be sure to give Bingolotto a look on Friday at 7pm to see what all the fuss is about. With Joe Pasquale and Suzanne Shaw presenting, you’re sure to have an entertaining night, win or lose.
