There’s no denying that the Euromillions Lottery has been going through a bit of a winner’s dry spell of late, with more rollovers than winners. However that dry spell was brought to an end over the weekend with a double winner on Friday’s Euromillions Lottery draw. Two players matched all the winning numbers and the lucky stars to share the £13 million jackpot, unfortunately, neither winner was from the UK.
The draw, a milestone draw 400 went off without a hitch on Friday evening, and sales were brisk. The Euromillions jackpot came in at £13.2 million and as mentioned above two players will share the jackpot.
In the UK, the biggest main draw winners on the Euromillions Lottery were the two UK winners who matched five main balls and one lucky star, they will collect over £100,000 along with another nine lottery players from across Europe who matched the same prize. Another ten players matched just five main balls, three of those are from the UK and each will collect almost £40,000 in prize money. In total £2.8 million in prize money was paid out in the UK alone and across Europe over 3 million players scooped a prize.
The next Euromillions draw will now be held on Tuesday evening, that’s tomorrow if you don’t already have lottery tickets for the draw. Tuesday Euromillions draws are also not televised, so make sure you pop back here on Tuesday evening to check the Euromillions results!
