EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls Again

In the world of movies it is rare to find a sequel that is better than – or even as good as – the original, but in the exciting world of lottery jackpots that kind of thing happens all the time. This time last week we were getting excited about a EuroMillions jackpot worth around £12 million, but then it rolled over to give players the chance of winning £20 million on Friday, and today we can tell you that another rollover has set things up for a £25 million jackpot game this Tuesday 25 February.
We have the EuroMillions results for Friday 21 February to thank for delivering this latest instalment in the ongoing jackpot rollover franchise, and if you haven’t checked your tickets yet you might want to do so right now. The main numbers drawn were 13, 17, 28, 30 and 32, and the Lucky Stars were 05 and 07. Although no player won the jackpot, more than 2.7 million entries won a consolation prize of some kind, and the biggest prizes were found at the second tier, where five tickets won £207,772 each by matching five main numbers and one Lucky Star.
There were seven entries that matched the five main numbers without either of the Lucky Star numbers to win £49,470 each, and all of the other successful tickets won smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. The Millionaire Raffle game delivered the biggest prize of all on Friday night, giving the player who matched the number YWZ446529 a very welcome reward of £1,000,000.
In stark contrast with the EuroMillions jackpot rolling over on Friday, the Lotto jackpot on Saturday was landed rather decisively. A single ticket matched the numbers 19, 23, 34, 35, 39 and 49 to win a top prize worth £7,647,028, and five other tickets matched five of those numbers plus the Bonus Ball number 33 to win £89,598 each. More than 250,000 prizes were won overall, and that isn’t including the 100 prizes of £20,000 each that were delivered by the Lotto Raffle game.
