EuroMillions Jackpot Rolls to Tuesday
Last Updated: Friday 21st March 2014, 17:00
The EuroMillions jackpot rolled over on Friday, so the next game this Tuesday 28th January will offer an even bigger prize of around £49 million to anyone who can match the five main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars. The main numbers last Friday were 05, 19, 34, 35 and 41, whilst the Lucky Stars were 01 and 05, and more than 2.54 million tickets matched enough of those numbers to win their owners a consolation prize of some sort. UK players won more than £3.35 million in consolation prizes, so now might be a good time to check your ticket if you haven’t done so already!
Seven tickets matched all five main numbers and one Lucky Star to secure a prize of £168,155 each, and there were five tickets that won £78,472 each by matching five main numbers only. 64 tickets matched four main numbers and both of the Lucky Stars to win £3,065 each, and all other winning tickets secured smaller prizes by matching fewer numbers. The winning Millionaire Raffle number on Friday was PTY086372, so the person with that same number on their ticket can now claim an eye-watering prize of £1,000,000.
The Lotto game on Saturday 25th January was very lucky for the owners of two tickets that matched all six main numbers to share a jackpot with a final value of £4,865,460. The numbers that were responsible for each of the winners now having an extra £2,432,730 to their name were 04, 15, 21, 30, 41 and 49, and the Bonus Ball was 11. A dozen tickets matched five main numbers and the Bonus Ball to win £32,363 each, and 280,503 tickets won smaller prizes for matching five, four or three numbers only. There were also 50 Lotto Raffle winners of £20,000 each.
The winning didn’t stop with the Lotto game on Saturday, because five lucky tickets matched all five main numbers in the Healthy Lottery game. The top prize in the Health Lottery game is always fixed at £100,000, even if several players are fortunate enough to win, so that sum was landed by each of the five winners on Saturday. Over 17,000 consolation prizes of up to £10,000 each were also landed by players matching fewer main numbers, with or without the Bonus Ball number 43.
