Euromillions winner comes forward

Last Updated: Monday 29th March 2010, 12:00 pm

Euromillions In a statement from the National Lottery yesterday it was confirmed that the Euromillions Lottery winner has stepped forward to claim the double rollover jackpot from Friday evening. If the win is confirmed the lucky Brit will be the fourth biggest UK Lottery winner of all time, receiving a staggering £39.75 million!

No details have yet been released about the winner, although as brought to you in Saturday’s news, it is definitely a British Lottery player. If the winner chooses the publicity route then we will bring you more news as it breaks.

It continues a lucky run for UK Euromillions players, being the third major rollover jackpot won by UK Lottery players in the past six months. Late last year Les Scadding become the UK’s biggest lottery winner with a £45 million jackpot, to be topped just a couple of months later by Nigel Page and Justine Laycock with a £56 million triple rollover jackpot. That makes this the third major Euromillions win by UK players in just a few months continuing a run of very good luck for players.

The next Euromillions Lottery draw is to be held on Friday evening and the jackpot returns to its base amount of an estimated £13 million. You can buy lotto tickets online for that draw right now and be in with a chance of being the next big UK Lottery winner.

More details about the latest Euromillions winner as we have them but for now, it’s good luck everyone in the week’s lottery draws, choose those numbers well and be lucky.
