Lottery Win for Family Syndicate

Last Updated: Tuesday 14th July 2009, 12:02 pm

Lottery Syndicate Lottery syndicates have great popularity in this country and are a fantastic way to increase your chances of winning a lottery jackpot without increasing the amount of money you spend each week. One family from Dartford have just learned this only too well as their family based lottery syndicate scooped almost £8 million in the UK Lotto draw.

The lottery had rolled over, increasing the usual mid week jackpot up to an estimated £7 million, in the event it went off at £7,985,672 after a rush of lottery ticket sales pushed the jackpot up even higher. The numbers drawn in the rollover lotto draw were 10 – 16 – 21 – 22 – 35 – 49 and the bonus ball was 31.

Soon after the draw news reached us that one lucky lottery ticket holder had scooped the entire jackpot of almost £8 million but now we can tell you this lucky lottery ticket was actually held by a lottery syndicate and the jackpot will be shared amongst its five members.

All five members belong to one family and they have scooped the entire £8 million lottery jackpot between them on one lucky lottery ticket. All we know is that they are from Dartford and their syndicate is five strong. They are expected to hold a press conference in Dartford today where more details will be released.

It’s a big win by anyone’s standards and no doubt this group will now be celebrating keeping it in the family with their sensational rollover lottery win.

The next UK Lotto draw will be held on Wednesday evening and the jackpot is an estimated £2.4 million.
