Lottery rollover hit 8 million

Lottery ticket sales in the UK must have been higher than expected for the Saturday rollover, as it pushed the lottery rollover jackpot to £8.1 million, more than half a million over estimate. In the event, two players matched all the winning numbers in the draw, each collecting just over £4 million and they weren’t the only winners. If you haven’t checked your lottery tickets yet then it’s time to log on to our lottery results page and see if you are one of the lucky winners.
Guinevere was the lottery machine chosen for last night’s UK Lotto draw, and set of balls number 4 was used, an exact replica of the draw conditions of last Saturday’s Lotto draw, interestingly that draw was also a rollover won on the evening, but back to last night’s draw.
The two very lucky jackpot winners from last night’s draw are now going to be enjoying a life-changing lottery prize, but they weren’t the only winners, in fact almost £18 million in lottery prizes was paid out in last night’s Lotto rollover! Thirteen lucky players matched five main balls and the bonus and each of those collects £127,033, another 385 people had a nice £2,680 windfall for matching five balls.
The next exciting draw for British lottery players is the midweek Lotto draw on Wednesday evening. After last night’s jackpot win, the estimated jackpot for the midweek lottery draw is £2.4 million and lottery ticket sales are open now for that draw.
