The Lotto jackpot on Wednesday 14 September has rolled over to the next game this Saturday after no player managed to match all six main numbers, which were 23, 28, 29, 37, 38 and 42. The Bonus Ball was 49. The jackpot had a value of £2.49 million so the estimated jackpot for the draw this Saturday 17 September is £6.5 million. The jackpot in the Irish Lotto game (which had a value of €8.39 million) also rolled over, so the top prize this Saturday is estimated to be something in the region of €9.5 million.
In the UK Lotto game, three players won a second tier prize of £256,022 each by matching five of the main numbers plus the Bonus Ball. There were 192 winners at the third tier level and each of those won £2,500 by matching five main numbers only. 251,679 other tickets matched four or three main numbers to win prizes of £93 or £10, respectively.
The results in the Irish Lotto game on Wednesday were 08, 10, 23, 25, 37 and 38, and the Bonus Ball was 09. A single ticket matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second tier prize of €25,000. 37 tickets won a third tier prize of €2,075 each by matching five main numbers only and 144 tickets matched four main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win €134 each. 40,403 other prizes of €59, €26 or €5 were won by tickets matching four main numbers, three main numbers plus the Bonus Ball or three main numbers only.
Lottery players in both the UK and Ireland will now be looking forward to their next chance to win a Lotto jackpot this Saturday, but before then we have a £12 million (€15 million) EuroMillions jackpot to play for on Friday 16 September. Buy tickets online for one or all of these games and if luck is on your side you could be the proud owner of a lottery jackpot before the weekend is over. Good luck!
