Massive UK Lotto jackpot still unclaimed

Forget the double lotto rollover this week, in fact forget buying lottery tickets at all because what you should be doing is checking old lottery tickets. This is because a massive UK Lotto prize of £3.7 million is still unclaimed and someone out there is holding the winning lottery ticket, even if they don’t know so yet.
The lottery ticket was sold in the Dover area of Kent and was for the UK Lotto draw held on Wednesday 2nd December, that means that someone out there has had the best Christmas they can afford not knowing they are holding a lottery ticket worth £3,786,303.
You can check the numbers for that draw on December 2nd on our lottery results page and see if you are the lucky lotto winner who hasn’t yet realised that you are sitting on almost £4 million in cash.
The lucky ticket holder has until 5.30pm on Monday 31st May 2010 to claim their prize before the whole lot, and the interest it has accrued goes into the fund for good causes and is lost to the winner forever.
A National Lottery spokesman has said that they already have the champagne on ice and are appealing for players to look wherever they may have left an old lottery ticket. It could be in an old jacket, down the back of the sofa or in a forgotten draw but somewhere in Kent is a lottery ticket worth £3.7 million and it’s begging to be claimed.
It also leaves us to remind you that when you buy lotto tickets treat them as cash and keep them safely, you never know what they may be worth.
