Brenda Pugh is a pensioner celebrating £850,000 National Lottery win in last weeks Wednesday nights draw. Mrs Pugh, the Millom National Lottery winner, was one of eight lucky winners who split a rollover jackpot of £6,804,104. Mrs Pugh has being celebrating in her Holborn Hill home since details of the win emerged.
Her family said “It is fantastic news, we are all very happy”. The whole town is buzzing with the news of the lucky pensioners National Lottery win, Mrs Pugh is a very popular figure in her town and is a member of the local walking club and often helps out at Millom’s Age Concern where she regularly takes part in charity events. Mrs Pugh’s lucky numbers were 3, 6, 11, 17, 23 and 29.
This news article did get us wondering though, how would you feel if you won the UK Lotto but ended up with less then £1 million?
