Not a Lotto Millionaires
Last Updated: Thursday 24th March 2011, 10:16 am
It was the midweek lottery draw last night but not a Lotto millionaires were created, as the £2.3 million jackpot was shared between three players. For a lottery draw that has created so many millionaires lately, it certainly broke the trend last night as no millionaires were created. Each of the three jackpot winners will collect £776,530 after matching all the winning numbers, part of the £7.9 million paid out in prizes.
Of the £7.9 million prize fund, £2.3 million was the jackpot pool, and while there were no millionaires created £776,530 is still a life-changing amount of money. Another six lucky players collect the second tier prize of £119,466 by matching five main balls and the bonus and of course there were plenty of smaller winners too.
If you haven’t checked last night’s lottery tickets then it’s time to check out the results right now and if you weren’t one of the lucky winners then don’t worry as the week is far from over.
Tomorrow evening, the biggest lottery jackpot of 2011 is up for grabs as the Euromillions Lottery has not been won for six consecutive draws. On Friday evening, UK Lottery players will get the chance to play for a staggering, mind-boggling, unbelievable £117 million, and ticket sales for the Euromillions Lottery are open now.
Congratulations to all of last night’s very lucky lottery winners, and if you’re playing tomorrow’s Euromillions draw, good luck and keep your lottery tickets in a safe place!
