The countdown to Christmas has begun and now there are just six UK Lotto draws before Christmas Day. Today is the second day of Christmas and it’s time to buy lottery tickets for Saturday night but yesterday, on the first day of Christmas – two millionaires were created, in last night’s National Lottery double rollover draw. With no jackpot winners last weekend, or for the midweek draw last Wednesday, the Lotto jackpot stood at £11.2 million last night, just two players matched all the winning numbers, collecting a little over £5.5 million each.
You can check the lottery results now, if you haven’t already checked your lottery tickets. Many winners were created in last night’s Lotto draw, across every tier of prizes. In total, almost £18 million in prize money will be paid out.
Who knows just how many lotto millionaires will be created before Christmas? but the lottery advent has now begun with this big jackpot kicking off the festive lottery season.
Saturday’s Lotto jackpot will be worth an estimated £4.4 million and the 4th December may well bring even more lottery millionaires in the lotto countdown to Christmas.
