One Winner Scoops Triple Rollover
Last Updated: Thursday 22nd January 2015, 09:24
It’s been an exciting this week on the Euromillions Lottery, after a triple rollover pushed the jackpot up to almost £50 million there was a rush to buy lottery tickets across all nine European countries that participate in the draw. The draw was held last night in Paris at 10pm and the fantastic news is that one winner scooped the triple rollover jackpot to take home the whole amount.
And that amount was not to be sniffed at, ending up at £49,902,092 after a rush of lottery ticket sales pushed it up to almost £50 million. No details have yet been released about the Euromillions winner and details are sketchy, we can confirm that the ticket was not sold within the UK although we do not yet know which of the nine participating countries the ticket was sold in.
The jackpot was one of several triple rollovers that have happened this year, making many, many multi-millionaires right across all nine of the European countries the lottery is played in.
Who knows who won, no doubt details will be released over the weekend about where the ticketholder comes from and whether the lucky ticket was a lucky dip or not. This Friday’s Euromillions Lottery jackpot will now be reset to £12 million and you can play in that draw from our draw pages.
Congratulations to the lucky Euromillions Lottery win who will no doubt be wearing a very large smile today as they try to take in the news that they are £50 million richer.
