Record Euromillions Winners Take Some Time out

With £161 million to spend, hotel bills aren’t really a worry, as record lottery winners the Weirs are discovering. It seems the couple are taking some time out, and have racked up a £30,000 hotel bill in the process, but to be quite honest, with a £161 million Euromillions win in the bank, who can blame them. The hotel bill also seems to be climbing, as the couple appear to have moved in.
The Weirs became a household name when they won £161 million on the Euromillions Lottery little over a month ago. They became the biggest ever winners on the Euromillions Lottery and don’t seem to have received a moment’s peace yet. It’s been reported that the lottery players are moving house, and so maybe this move to a hotel is just to get them a little respite along the way.
However, with the national press today reporting the hotel move (we’re not going to name the hotel here), it seems that peace is the last thing the Weirs are getting.
Big lottery jackpots attract a lot of press, and no doubt the Weirs will have been warned when they celebrated their win, that there would be a huge amount of interest.
The one thing sure to knock the Weirs back into obscurity would be another big Euromillions winner, and looking forward to tomorrow’s draw there’s a £48 million jackpot up for grabs. The Euromillions results tomorrow evening could mean a new big UK winner, and another roll will mean that jackpot gets closer to the sort of cash the Weirs walked away with!
