Single Ticket Scoops Lotto Jackpot

A Lotto jackpot worth £3,634,865 was scooped by a single ticket in the game on Saturday, giving the owner of that ticket over three-and-a-half million reasons to celebrate. The Lotto results that were responsible for the win were 01, 05, 18, 21, 23 and 33, and the Bonus Ball was 20. 14 tickets matched five main Lotto numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win a second-tier consolation prize of £79,887 each. 602 tickets won £1,161 each after matching five main numbers only, and another 625,349 tickets matched either four or three main numbers to win £45 or £10 each, respectively. That brought the total number of Lotto prizes won on Saturday to 625,966.
